Kids Helpline is Australia's only free, 24-hour phone and online counselling service for Australia's young people (between five and 25 years).

Those who contact the service can choose to make contact by phone, e-mail or via the web, speak with a male or female counsellor, and can even arrange to reconnect with the same counsellor upon their return to the service.

Optus has proudly partnered with Kids Helpline since 1999. We continue to offer free calls to Kids Helpline from all Optus mobiles, and have helped establish the world's first free real-time online counselling sessions, which we are committed to expanding in the future. Close to 270,000 telephone, web, and email contacts have been made by Kids Helpline with the support of our ongoing partnership.

Erase Cyberbullying Campaign

Kids Helpline and Optus have joined forces to help schools around Australia tackle cyber safety with the launch of a new education pack. Every School in Australia will be sent a direct mail pack containing 2 posters and a USB stick with lesson plans and DVDs covering the aforementioned key issues.
