Optus announced today a four year $160 million agreement to provide Dodo with wholesale mobile, voice and mobile broadband services.

Vicki Brady, Optus Wholesale and Satellite Managing Director said, "Optus continues to lead the industry in wholesale mobile services and this deal with Dodo cements us as the number one wholesaler of choice for mobile and mobile broadband.

"This significant deal renews existing services and provides the platform for Dodo and Optus to launch future services using the Optus mobile network.

"Dodo is an innovative service provider and continues to lead the market with mobile, mobile broadband and net book bundles. Dodo with Optus will ensure Australian consumers get the latest mobile products and services along with real choice and value.

Optus continued to invest significantly in its mobile network this financial year not only in expanding mobile coverage beyond 96 per cent of the population but also deepening existing mobile and mobile broadband coverage across Australia to ensure a positive experience for customers.

"The take-up of mobile broadband by traditional ISPs and mobile service providers continues to drive sales and momentum for our services providers," Ms Brady said.
